- Yes, recliners are not safe for pets because they often like to climb in and lay on the flap under the feet area. Sorry you learned the hard way.
- Thank you for warning all of us, and I am very sorry for your loss.
- Awww,i'm sorry :o(
- Thank You So much for warning me because I was just steps away from just buying one. Thats really sad, I'm sorry
- wow, that sucks. good to know. I'm never buying one of those.
- I'm sorry for your loss :( yes these things are very dangerous. I always have to check to make sure none of my little babies are hiding in it or on it or around it before I sit down. Guess that's why I sit on the couch the most now!
- One time, my cat Malikia was under the couch when we pulled the recliner out. She didnt die, or even get hurt, cause she let out this high pitched cry and we let her out so she was okay. But even now, I am very careful whenever i do this so that no cats are under there.
- I'm am sorry for your loss this happens many times to new pet owners. Also thank you for trying to warn us, i hope you are going to get a new kitten.
- Sorry for your loss and hope you get rid of the recliner
- Very sorry to hear this. I feel bad for you, but it could have happened to any of us. I never thought of these things as being a hazard - thanks for letting everyone know. We have one, but rarely use it and our cat never goes near it. Are you going to burn the recliner?
- I am so sorry. terrible way to lose a pet. I'll be VERY careful when I sit!
- I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing and warning us as it could happen to anyone.
- i am extremely sorry for your loss =/ i thank you because i will now make sure to keep an eye on where my cat is. please do so also i you get another kitten. make sure you know where your kitten is at all times before you close something because it could be in danger. i do this all the time because my cat likes to climb in my drawer so i don't want to close it & it gets (God forbid) stuck or trapped. i always make sure. & now i will make sure with my recliner too. thank you & please take my advice into consideration.
