What color should I use to put in my living room that is already black and white?

My furniture consist of a black entertainment center with a black leather recliner. I also have different black and white pictures up on the walls. I need to know what other colors would go with my white sheer curtains and whatever else i could use to bring some more color to the living room to make it a little bit more cozier.

1. use some warm and bright colors to make the room stan d out.. a bright rug or nice painting...in massachusetts te christmas tree shop is great for stuff like that.

3. WOW... any color would go w/ black n white! If u'r looking for POP then go w/ the bright colors of red/orange/yellow/turquoise/lime green but if u want more a mellow tone go w/ dusty purple/tans/deep dk greens/ deep blues. Can u paint the walls? If so, try 1wall to paint a color. Or use accents like pillows/throws/rugs/ lamps/ vases/ glassware/mirrors/ flowers/fruit/valances/ ... have fun
4. Although red is my first choice, you said you wanted something cozier...I would choose a light mustard (not yellow). A nice gold hue would look great with the black and white but would give the room depth and warmth.
5. i would paint you main wall red and the others white, put up some red pictures, cushions and a red lamp. i went all wrong with my living room, we got a chocolate brown leather sofa which is very very cold, then i picked cocco blush, meant to be light brown but it turned out looking mauve. the whole thing looks cold so i am n the look out for some red accessories too, good luck!
6. I love black&white! I added red with my b&w...it sure made it pop! so since you want cozier maybe a burgandy would work..good luck!
7. try a musturdy brown, goldish brown i painted a clients office goldish brown with satin black trim and a wall to wall bookcase. tan ceiling but i would try the cieling the same as room
