How can I get ink from a pen off of my leather recliner?

  1. I know this might sound a little crazy but if you go to the store and pick up (or have some around the house) ZIPPO fluid (or something comparable) and use a soft rag- this will likely do the trick. This stuff is great for so many things. Good luck! -EA
  2. Hair spray
  3. Denatured alcohol on a cloth or cotton ball should do the trick. Takes a lot of time but keep at it.
  4. I have found the most effective means of getting ink out of anything, including clothing, is hairspray. Someone told me about this remedy almost 20 years ago and it works!! The only trouble I've had is when the stain on fabric is old or it has been through the washer/dryer where the heat has set in the dye from the ink. Try the hairspray on an inconspicuous part of the chair first, just to make sure it doesn't do something you don't expect to the leather as it may also remove any top layers of finish on the leather. Be gentle. Be patient.
  5. try peroxide it takes ink out of clothing and a soft cloth.good luck
  6. I really don't think anything will get it out.
