How comfortable are the reclining seats in overnight trains in europe? We are planning to take the overnight train from Amsterdam to Munich. We would like to save some bucks by booking reclining seats, but if in the end they are not really that comfortable, we might as well book sleepers to get a good night's sleep. Has anyone sat in the 'super reclining' seats (according to raileurope.com) on any overnight journey in europe? Thanks.
Should reclining seats on airlines be limited to overnight flights? It's common courtesy to respect other people's space, but people don't all have that. I hate it when some unconsiderate person slams thier seat back into me. There is a seat back right tin your face and you cant even stand up straight when they are fully reclined. Should airlines restrict or limit leaning back on day flights. Can courtesy be required? fat chance I know, but say you cant lean you seat back unless you ask the person behind and they push a button for you. If there is noone behind me or the are asleep, then I may recline. Otherwise, I simply sit in the small, I'm-not-paying-for-first class seat and read or think. Speaking of thinking, I thought of this question due to the toddler tantrum getting that family tossed from the plane. Tantrums dont last the whole flight - leaned back seats bother me more! There is a lot of rudeness in flights isnt there. I just wish everyone would be considerate. We are all in the sardine can together. PS I didn't mean to infer that kids are a problem. Most of their disruptions cant be helped. I agree that many adults are louder and more annoying than kids. More annoying, partially because they should know better.
Reclining seats on airplanes.? Recently on a trip to London a woman in front of me reclined her seat back. I have nothing against this. It is not her fault they pack the seats so tight, however (and there is always one floating about) when the lady by the window seat had to get out to use the bathroom princess got rude about being asked to push her seat back. Have you had similar problems?

Are exit row seats able to recline? I'm having a discussion regarding what the best seats are for long haul economy seats in an airplane. Although I would prefer exit row seats for the extra leg room, my wife insists that exit row seats don't recline, which is her preferred feature. Does anybody know for sure if the exit row seats can recline?
How do you remove the 2nd row Seats in a 2006 Hond Odessey? I have located the 2 levers that allow the seat to recline or fold flat but unable to locate a release for the seat that will allow their removal. Please be specific in your description if you know the location. thanks in advance for your assistance.
Do the seats in front of the exit row recline? I am making a reservation and the only available non-middle seat is the window seat in front of the exit row. The exit row has only the aisle and middle seats. I am afraid that the window seat I am reserving might not recline, to allow access to the emergency exit. Does anyone know for sure? THANKS!!! p.s. - it's on a Boeing 737-700
Should i put bucket seats into my car? Its a 3 door corsa and the reclining ones are £460, the bucket seats are only £300. Occasionally ive a third or fourth person in the car but since i always drive it why should i care if its arkward getting into the back?
Is it Rude to Recline your Airplane Seat? I want to get your opinion. Does the person sitting in a seat on a plane, bus, or train have the unconditional right to recline his seat? Is the space that is used up in the seat behind for the recline technically owned by the person sitting in the reclining seat. Possible scenarios: 1) Person sitting in the seat behind him wants to work on her laptop, but can't if the seat is reclined. 2) Person sitting in the seat behind is a large and/or tall man/woman and the reclining seat would make him or her feel more cramped than he or she already is. 3) Person can only sleep and feel comfortable when seat is reclined
Why does my driver-side car seat motor start and stop working by itself? I have a 99 Camry LE V6. The car seat adjustment motor (for the front and back movement only) sometimes stops responding completely for weeks. There is no sound or movement whatsoever. Then it starts working again. The other movements (back-rest reclining, seat height, etc) have no problems. When it works though, the seat has been making a grinding noise. Could it be friction? Would greasing the slide rails help?
How to prevent dyed leather recliner seat from staining my clothes? This question been asked before by me but may not have good keywords on it. Hope somebody can give more options. I have a leather recliner / reclining seat, reddish brown colored sometimes stained my clothes with red-brown color (maybe because of sweat?), and when it rubs against the wall it left a reddish brown stain on the wall. How do I treat this leather to prevent the fading color and rubs off. Is there any protection spray or rejuvenator formula for these kind of leather? thanks in advance. Will give points to the previous answer and points to any best answer.
Anyone know of a double stroller that the seats recline with one hand? Hi there. I am looking for people’s opinions on tandem double strollers (front and back), and more specifically, if you have one that you think would work for me that you wouldn’t mind recommending… The local stores have limited selection of double strollers for me to check out and “test drive” and I have yet to find a stroller that meets all of my needs. I’ve come close with a duo-glider but the seat recline was a deal breaker… I’m over 33 weeks now and feeling the pressure to have the decision made… The features that I find most important are: Recline: I want both seats to recline (understanding that the front seat likely won’t fully recline), but I expect the recline control to be easy to use. My single stroller was the graco Quattro tour deluxe, and I’m used to (and want) the single lever to recline the seat gracefully – even with a sleeping infant in the seat- I have yet to find that in a double stroller. The doubles I’ve seen in person seem to all require two hands to work the mechanism whether it’s straps that act as pulleys or a clasp on each side that hooks over a peg. I want to be able to recline it single handedly. Ease of use – it has to be something I can lift, open and close without too much of a struggle, and steer even through crowds (we are avid fair goers etc). Features: I’d really like the tray and couple holder for both seats and a parent tray to hold my beverage, cell phone or keys etc. Also, I need a decent size basket on the bottom. I don’t really care what it looks like. Price, I’m trying to keep it under $200.
How to fix reclining sofa rubber pull? We just bought a second hand sectional sofa with 2 reclining seats on is missing the pulley thing to pop out the footrest. I am not sure of the manufacturer but the remaining recliner has a plastic/rubber handle ont he inside of the couch you pull to make it recline. On the missing side there is no handle but the wires from where it was attached are still there and underneath it is still attached just can not for the life of me pop up the footrest without that pulley. Anyone know where to get a repacement part or a makeshift fix?
Seats when regarding plane etiquette? Basically... Plane etiquette consists of things such as minimise BO, dont hog armrests etc. But does plane etiquette regarding seat reclining backwards?? I mean in economy/coach, do you consider it rude when the person in front leans all the way back, forcing you to eat and watch tv with retracted elbows?? Is it unwritten law? Just got off a 25 hr flight in economy/coach so i was doing alot of thinking haha
Dual reclining loveseat - uneven cushions? I recently purchased a La-Z-Boy dual reclining loveseat. I noticed that the seat on the left sticks out about an inch more than the one on the right. I think that in the manufacturing process, the fabric on the seat on the right was sewn a little tigher than the seat on the left. It's not very obvious and both seats are just comfortable. I didn't notice this "defect" until about 3 weeks after I had it. Should I call the store and have them come look at it or is this something that is an acceptable variation?
where can I find a lightweight buggy? I have a two year old son and we're going on holiday in September so need a very lightweight simple buggy to take with us. Can anyone recommend one? Our current buggy is the Maclaren XT which weighs in the region of 7kg. Im after something lighter than this, it doesnt have to have a reclining seat, just a simle sit down buggy will be fine.
Which type of airline would you choose to fly on if they were both fly time from the same time and place? A jetblue type airline with complimentary drinks and snacks with free headset and personal video screen and leather seats with generous leg room and reclining seats and window shades and head rests for $200 OR A ryan air type airline with no snacks or drinks but available for purchase, no headsets, no tv screens in the entire plane, fabric seats, with slightly less than average leg room with no recline and no window shades and no head rests and slightly cramped seat for only $85
